Manchester Monarchs Booster Club members had the opportunity to have
their say as to what player would win the 2004-2005 MMBC/Wild Rover Player
of the Year Award at the MMBC's last Membership Meeting. Members were
asked to vote for the player they felt deserved to be recognized by the booster
club.
The vote was a landslide and Mike Cammalleri was awarded the 2004-2005
MMBC/Wild Rover Player of the Year Award. Mike received his award during
the Monarchs on-ice award presentation ceremony held before last night's
home season finale vs the Worcester IceCats. MMBC President Bill Walch
and Vice President Marlene Lein presented the 2004-2005 MMBC/Wild Rover
Player of the Year Award to Mike.
The award is made in the shape of the State of New Hampshire, with the
MMBC logo on the upper part of the award and below it the inscription of “The
MMBC honors Mike Cammalleri as Player of the Year 2004-2005 in recognition
of his outstanding contributions to the Manchester Monarchs during the entire
season”.
Along with the award, Mike received a $50.00 gift card to the Wild Rover
Restaurant & Pub located at 21 Kosciuszko Street in Manchester, NH. The
Wild Rover is the sponsor of the MMBC’s Player Award for the Year.
Way to go, Mike!!! It was well earned! The previous recipient of the MMBC/Wild Rover Player of the Year Award was Pavel Rosa (2003-
2004).
