With the start of the month of April comes the start of the April Raffle Calendar. Like
the raffle calendar in January, prizes will be awarded on a daily basis. Each calendar
has the potential of winning 30 times. The value of this month's prizes reaches over

something needed to get
done, Michelle
was always one of the
first people to step up and
volunteer.
For the 2008-09 season,
Michelle has taken on
more responsibility. She
is Co-Chair of MMBC
Fundraising with Veronica
Hannemann.
She is a vital part of why
the MMBC is so
successful and will
continue to be in the
future.
Michelle is one of the
biggest Monarch fans
around. She is not a “stay-
at-home” fan. She
supports the team on the
road, as well.

Manchester Monarchs Booster
Club members recently voted for
the player they thought deserved
to win the 2008-2009 MMBC/Wild
Rover Player of the Year Award.
Marty Murray, Captain of the
Manchester Monarchs was
selected by the fans as the
2008-2009 MMBC/Wild Rover
Player of the Year.
Congrats Marty!!!
Marty was presented his award during the Monarchs on-ice award ceremony held
before the April 11, 2009 home game vs. the Portland Pirates. MMBC President
Marlene Lein and Vice President Noelle Clark presented the award to Marty.
The award is made in the shape of the State of New Hampshire, with the MMBC logo
on the upper part of the award and below it the inscription of “The MMBC honors
Marty Murray as Player of the Year 2008-2009 in recognition of his outstanding
contributions to the Manchester Monarchs during the entire season”.
Along with the award, Marty received a $50.00 gift card to the Wild Rover Restaurant &
Pub located at 21 Kosciuszko Street in Manchester, NH. The Wild Rover is the
sponsor of the MMBC’s Player Award for the Year.
Previous recipients of the MMBC/Wild Rover Player of the Year Award were Pavel
Rosa (2003-2004) , Mike Cammalleri (2004-2005), Petr Kanko (2005-2006) and Jason
LaBarbera (2006-2007) & Brian Boyle (2007-2008).
